The NUYOU Program has been designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and is committed to managing personal information in an open, transparent and secure way.
GlaxoSmithKline Pty Ltd (GSK) has engaged Partizan Worldwide Pty Ltd (Partizan Worldwide) to administer the NUYOU Support Program. In order to provide NUYOU Support Program Services to you, Partizan Worldwide will collect and hold some of your personal information.
To participate in the NUYOU Program, you need to enrol and consent to the NUYOU Support Program Terms and Conditions. In order for the NUYOU Program to provide you with program services, some personal information, such as your name, age, address and telephone number, as well as relevant treatment information will need to be collected.
If you choose not to provide the information requested, it may not be possible for the NUYOU Coordinator to contact you or provide program services as part of the NUYOU Program.
Sensitive personal information will be used by the NUYOU Program Administrators to contact patients and Healthcare Professionals, create an enrolment record electronically; and enter into the NUYOU Program registries, databases and web based systems hosted in Australia.
Personal sensitive information provided may be disclosed by Partizan Worldwide to the patient’s nominated Healthcare Practitioner(s) or to third party individuals or organisations contracted or involved in the administration of the NUYOU Program located within Australia such as:
Partizan Worldwide will also disclose de-identified sensitive personal information to GSK, or a third party acting on their behalf, for complaint investigation; audit purposes; regulatory and adverse event reporting or as required by law.
GSK has a standard operating procedure by which all adverse events experienced by patients taking a GSK drug when notified by an employee, contractor or any third party, must be collected, stored and processed and reported to international regulatory authorities where required.
GSK, or a third party acting on their behalf, may contact a patient’s Healthcare Professional in order to collect further information related to an adverse event. GSK may share the de-identified sensitive personal information with its parent company the GSK Group, in England and Wales.
De-identified information relating to a patient’s participation in the NUYOU Program may also be collated into a report for GSK. GSK may use this information to:
GSK may also share de-identified information with its parent Company or its affiliates regarding how the Programs are working on an aggregated basis. This information does not identify patients individually. Any personal information collected by GSK will be handled in accordance with GSK’s privacy policy available at https://privacy.gsk.com/en-au/privacy-notice/general.
Partizan Worldwide (or third party individuals or organisations contracted or involved in the administration of the NUYOU Program) will retain the sensitive personal information collected for the period of your participation in the NUYOU Program and after your participation in the Program has ended for the purposes of reporting, audit and as required by law. Retention of sensitive personal information is also regulated by medical legislation. Any sensitive personal information relating to adverse event reporting must be retained for seven years after the finalisation of product commercialisation, discontinuation of development, out licencing or other action whereby GSK have no further requirement for monitoring safety of the product.
At your request, Partizan Worldwide (or third party individuals or organisations contracted or involved in the administration of the NUYOU Program) will update your personal information as it changes during the course of your participation in the NUYOU Program.
